OVERVIEW
Chris brings broad-based legal, operational, and industry-specific expertise to his practice. His work spans private, business, and specialty aviation asset purchase and sale, leasing, and operational structuring; industrial construction; manufacturing; intellectual property; commercial transactions; asset ownership structures; tech start-up operations and turnarounds; as well as international legal advocacy, litigation, and arbitration before courts, tribunals, and regulators.
Chris has a diverse professional background spanning software development, military intelligence, tech startup opportunities, and in house private legal practice. Over time, he has developed a niche in aviation law, with focus on general aviation including private, business, and specialty operations.
In his practice, Chris thrives in developing new ideas and responding to novel legal challenges. He regularly advises private and commercial air operators, including corporate flight departments.
Originally from the Greater Vancouver area, Chris has called Calgary home since his articling days. He has also lived in and visits regularly, Strasbourg, France, reflecting his strong connection to Alsace and appreciation for international perspectives.
