OVERVIEW

Ishpreet followed a unique path into the practice of law. Inspired at a young age to become a pilot, Ishpreet joined the Air Cadet program and then went on to obtain an Airline Transport Pilot’s License and attain hundreds of flight hours. During the pandemic, Ishpreet pivoted her career by enrolling in law school. The legal profession’s perplexing concerns appealed to her inquisitive nature.

Ishpreet excels at interpreting complex situations with authority, communicating clear, concise instructions, and delivering solutions that are results-driven and aligned with her high standards.

Originally from London, England, Ishpreet moved to Calgary in 2008. She attended Law School in Leicester, UK and is a University of Leicester Centenary Scholar Recipient. Ishpreet was also bestowed with her Gold Duke of Edinburgh Award for her engagement in volunteering, physical challenges, and skills development.

On the weekends Ishpreet continues to hone her flying skills at her local Airport. She also enjoys taking her yorkies for walks, keeping active and healthy, and spending time with her family and friends.

We acknowledge that what we call Alberta is the traditional and ancestral territory of many peoples, presently subject to Treaties 6, 7, and 8. Namely: the Blackfoot Confederacy – Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika – the Cree, Dene, Saulteaux, Nakota Sioux, Stoney Nakoda, and the Tsuu T’ina Nation and the Métis People of Alberta. This includes the Métis Settlements and the Six Regions of the Métis Nation of Alberta within the historical Northwest Metis Homeland. We acknowledge the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have lived in and cared for these lands for generations. We are grateful for the traditional Knowledge Keepers and Elders who are still with us today and those who have gone before us. We make this acknowledgement as an act of reconciliation and gratitude to those whose territory we reside on or are visiting.
